The Annual Function of St Joseph’s Convent Senior Secondary School, Hoshiarpur was celebrated with great splendour and enthusiasm on 8th November 2025. The event, based on the inspiring theme “Beacon of Hope,” showcased the talent, creativity and unity of the students.

The school was honoured to welcome Ms Aashika Jain(IAS), Deputy Commissioner, Hoshiarpur who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Ms Oishee Mandal(IAS) , Assistant Commissioner , Hoshiarpur was the Guest of Honour, adding dignity and charm to the celebration. The esteemed presence of  School Manager Rev.Sr. Sophie  and  Principal Rev.Sr . Sudha enriched the event with their guidance and blessings.

The programme began with the traditional lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the theme of light, hope, and a bright future..

A series of colourful cultural items, beautifully choreographed by Mr Sumant Rajput, captivated the audience. Each performance creatively depicted the theme “Beacon of Hope,” highlighting values such as courage, compassion, perseverance, and the triumph of positivity over adversity.

A series of vibrant cultural presentations,  showcased how the school continues to act as a beacon of hope in today’s fast-changing and challenging world.

Through expressive dances, musical pieces, and thematic acts, students depicted:

the school’s role in promoting values and moral guidance,

its focus on inclusive education,

initiatives for mental well-being,

These performances beautifully illustrated how St Joseph’s Convent School provides light, direction, and inspiration to young learners, helping them grow into confident, compassionate, and responsible citizens.

 The vibrant dances, soulful songs, and expressive performances reflected the hard work and dedication of both students and teachers.The audience was treated to a spectacular display of light and sound, which enhanced the ambience and added vibrancy to each performance.

The distinguished guests appreciated the efforts of the performers and congratulated the school for its commitment to holistic education.Guests were warmly welcomed and served delightful refreshments, showcasing the school’s hospitality. The invited dignitaries appreciated the commitment of the students and teachers, praising the meaningful theme and the high standard of performances.

The launch of the School Digital Magazine was a proud moment, marking another step towards innovation and digital growth.

 The Principal, in her address, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the invited guests,  visiting Principals, Reverend Fathers, Sisters, parents,  well-wishers , teachers, and students for their constant support. 

She also emphasized the importance of nurturing hope, resilience, and moral values among young learners.

The audience, comprising parents, well-wishers, and staff, applauded every performance wholeheartedly, making the event lively and memorable. The function concluded with a vote of thanks, Grand Finale,followed by the National Anthem.

Overall, the Annual Function 2025 was a resounding success, celebrating talent, teamwork, and the spirit of hope that guides the St Joseph’s Convent Sr.Secondary  School Hoshiarpur fraternity.
