St. Joseph's Convent School

"Deep within man dwell those slumbering powers; powers that would astonish him, that he never dreamed of possessing; forces that would revolutionize his life if aroused and put into action."

                                                                                                                                            - Orison Sweet Marden.

To arouse such forces of the blooming buds and to help them grow as excellent human beings the Almighty God has blessed this temple of knowledge with dedicated and dynamic staff, caring and supporting parents, motivated students, helpful civil authorities and encouraging benefactors. Victory is not the medal of an individual; it is the ornament of the whole tribe. As a result of the sincere, collaborative and constant effort there are many shining stars - the products of St. Joseph's Convent School, Hoshiarpur - that illumine the society today, not only in the hometown but also around the globe. Here comes a note of appreciation and heartfelt gratitude to you dear students, alumni, parents and teachers. We are happiest when we are growing and feeling that we are contributing in some way. "When the learning is purposeful, creativity blossoms; when creativity blossoms, thinking emanates. When thinking emanates, knowledge is fully lit; when knowledge is lit, economy flourishes." - APJ Abdul Kalam said. As education is a noble task for the service of the society and the nation, let us join our hands and wholeheartedly put our efforts aiming at the all round development of our blooming buds, tomorrow's citizens. When human mind is cultivated with moral values, society is transformed from within to recognize the human dignity and fraternity among the members of the society. We belong to one universal family here on earth.

I wish to conclude here, thanking God wholeheartedly for His abundant blessings and to all the dignitaries for their encouraging messages. I also cordially thank the Editorial Board for their strenuous efforts and appreciate the students who have contributed their mite and all those who have extended their helping hands with a humble prayer to bless one and all.
